DropPulse Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

DropPulse is a hydration tracking application that helps you record your daily water intake, set goals and receive reminders. It is published on Google Play and on the Apple App Store under the bundle identifier com.app.beberagua. On the App Store the listing title is WaterPulse: Drink Water (App ID 6789282591); it is the same application, the same developer and the same data practices described here.

DropPulse is developed and operated by Carlos Eduardo Felicio de Andrade, an independent developer based in Brazil, who publishes the app under the brand name Kodaru System. Carlos Eduardo Felicio de Andrade is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

For any privacy question, request or complaint, you can contact us at any time at cadufelicioandrade@gmail.com. This address is our privacy point of contact and is monitored directly by the developer.

The app was previously published under the name WaterPulse, and that name is still in use on the Apple App Store listing. The application, the developer and the data practices described here are the same; only the name differs between stores.

2. Data we collect

DropPulse collects only the data needed to provide hydration tracking and to keep the app working. The table below lists every category of data the app accesses or collects.

Data you provide vs. data collected automatically

Data such as your weight, gender, unit of measure and intake records is provided by you inside the app. Data such as device model, crash logs and the advertising identifier is collected automatically by the app and its service providers when you use DropPulse.

3. How we use your data

Carlos Eduardo Felicio de Andrade uses the data described above exclusively for the following purposes:

• Provide the core hydration tracking features of DropPulse
• Calculate your personalised daily water goal
• Store and sync your history so it is available across your devices
• Send the reminders and notifications you have enabled
• Diagnose crashes, fix bugs and improve app stability and performance
• Display advertising in the free version of the app
• Process and validate subscriptions and in-app purchases
• Respond to your support, privacy and deletion requests
• Comply with legal obligations applicable to the developer

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use your hydration data for any purpose other than delivering the features described in this policy.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where data protection law requires a legal basis — for example the Brazilian LGPD (Lei nº 13.709/2018) or the European GDPR — the developer relies on the following:

• Performance of a contract: processing your account and hydration data so the app can deliver the service you requested
• Consent: optional data such as weight and gender, personalised advertising, and notification permissions — you may withdraw consent at any time
• Legitimate interests: diagnostics, crash reporting, security and prevention of abuse
• Legal obligation: retention of transaction records required by applicable tax and accounting law

5. Sharing and third-party services

Carlos Eduardo Felicio de Andrade does not sell your personal data and does not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. DropPulse relies on the following service providers, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:

We may also disclose data where required by law, a valid court order or a lawful request by a public authority, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety and property of users or of the developer.

6. Device permissions

DropPulse requests only the permissions required for its features. Each is optional and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.

• Notifications: to deliver the hydration reminders you configure. Denying this permission disables reminders but not the rest of the app.
• Internet access: to sync your data with the cloud, load ads and process purchases.
• Android Scheduled alarms: to trigger reminders at the times you set, even when the app is closed.
• iOS App Tracking Transparency: asked once, before any personalised advertising. Declining does not affect any feature of the app — you simply see non-personalised ads.

DropPulse does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage or any other sensitive permission.

7. Data retention

Carlos Eduardo Felicio de Andrade keeps your personal data only for as long as your DropPulse account remains active, or as long as needed to provide the service.

• Account and hydration data: retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of a confirmed deletion request.
• Encrypted backups: may take up to 90 days to be fully purged after deletion.
• Aggregated, anonymous statistics: retained indefinitely, as they can no longer identify you.
• Transaction and subscription records: retained for the period required by applicable tax law, kept separately from your identity.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

• Confirm whether the developer processes data about you
• Access a copy of your personal data
• Correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data
• Request deletion of your account and personal data
• Request portability of your data to another provider
• Withdraw consent previously given, without affecting past processing
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Brazil, the ANPD

To exercise any of these rights, write to cadufelicioandrade@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days. You do not need an active account to submit a request.

You can also limit advertising personalisation at any time in your device settings:

• Android Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising identifier.
• iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, where you can withdraw the tracking permission you granted.

Managing or cancelling a purchase is done in the store that processed it: Android the Google Play Store, under Payments & subscriptions, or iOS your Apple Account settings.

9. Account and data deletion

You can delete your DropPulse account and all associated personal data at any time, in two ways:

• Inside the app: open the app, tap the Me tab in the bottom navigation bar, go to the Account section and tap Delete account. This path is available on both Android and iOS.
• By email: write to cadufelicioandrade@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion request — DropPulse", including the email address you use to sign in.

10. Security

Carlos Eduardo Felicio de Andrade applies technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest on Google Cloud infrastructure, authenticated access rules on Firestore, and restriction of access to the developer only.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that presents a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by applicable law.

11. Children's privacy

DropPulse is not directed at children. Carlos Eduardo Felicio de Andrade does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age set by the law of your country). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact cadufelicioandrade@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

12. International data transfers

Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure, and purchase records are processed by Apple, Google and RevenueCat, all of which may process and store information on servers located outside your country of residence — including in the United States. These transfers are protected by the safeguards offered by each provider, including standard contractual clauses, in accordance with applicable data protection law.

13. Changes to this policy

Carlos Eduardo Felicio de Andrade may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app, in our service providers or in applicable law. The effective date at the top of this page always indicates the current version.

When changes are material, we will notify you inside the DropPulse app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
